The Engwe LE20 is the e-bike that combines strength, comfort and versatility. Engine with powerful acceleration and intelligent assistance.

The brushless 250W motor delivers a powerful push with every pedal stroke and can handle even steep hills with ease. The torque sensor senses how hard you're pedaling and adjusts the power in real time, creating a natural, smooth and energy-efficient ride. The top speed of 25 km/h makes it legal as an electric bike and perfect for city riding.

Up to 350 km range with dual batteries.

The battery system is one of the LE20's strongest points. The standard version has a 48V 19.2Ah battery with up to 180 km of range. The dual battery version provides a full 38.4Ah and up to an incredible 350 km. Both batteries are removable, secured with a key lock and can be charged both on and off the bike. Standard charging takes 6–8 hours, while Engwe's flash charger (sold separately) charges in just 2–3 hours.

Stable and durable frame – built to last.

The through-frame 6061 aluminum alloy is both lightweight and durable. It can withstand tough use and is tested for high stress. It also has a step-through design that makes it easy to get on and off, regardless of clothing style or body shape. A durable construction that can handle both everyday use and heavy loads.

Comfort saddle with adjustable height and plush top.

For long-lasting comfort, the LE20 features a padded, plush-topped seat that is height-adjustable from 88-111 cm. The ergonomic design reduces fatigue and keeps you comfortable even on longer rides – perfect for both everyday and leisure use.

Hydraulic disc brakes for safe stops.

With 180 mm hydraulic disc brakes, you get precise braking power even in rain or mud. The system reacts quickly and confidently, ensuring you are always in control regardless of road conditions. An important safety feature, especially in city traffic or with a heavy load.

Integrated lighting and indicators for increased safety.

The LE20 is equipped with bright LED lighting at the front and rear, as well as integrated indicators. This makes you highly visible in the dark and facilitates communication with other road users – especially in heavy traffic or when transporting passengers.

Durable 20 x 3.0” puncture-proof tires.

The wide road tires are not only comfortable, but also puncture-proof to reduce the risk of interruptions. The tread pattern provides stable grip on both asphalt and uneven paths, making the LE20 feel safe to drive regardless of the surface.

Advanced LCD display with app connectivity.

The LE20 has a clear LCD display that shows battery level, speed, distance and pedal assist level. You can also connect the bike to an app for route planning, GPS tracking and battery monitoring – making your commute even smoother and smarter.

Shimano 7-speed drivetrain for varied riding.

The integrated SHIMANO 7-speed system makes it easy to adapt your ride to the terrain. Shift up hills or down descents – the LE20 gives you the flexibility you need for any type of route.

Safety protection and childproof features.

For extra safety, the bike is equipped with a guard that covers the rear wheel. This prevents both debris and curious feet from getting close to the wheels – a smart safety detail, especially in the passenger version.

Front fork suspension for extra riding comfort.

The LE20's front suspension lets you glide smoothly over bumps, curbs and uneven surfaces.This not only makes driving more comfortable, but also safer – especially with higher loads or longer trips.

Robust rear luggage rack with 200 kg load capacity.

The rear rack is built to handle heavy transport. With a maximum load capacity of 200 kg, you can load grocery bags, tools, bags – or a passenger. The combination of the frame’s stability and load capacity makes the LE20 a powerful transport tool.

Smart technology and theft protection.

The Engwe LE20 is equipped with an intelligent anti-theft module that includes GPS tracking, motion detection and smart locking via the app. You can easily lock and unlock your bike remotely and receive instant alerts if anyone tries to touch it. It also has a built-in light sensor-controlled rear light for added safety when riding at night. The app is available for download at App Store for iOS and Google Play for Android.

Smart option and clear division.

The ENGWE LE20 can be easily adapted to your needs with smart options such as an extra passenger seat, extended luggage rack, practical luggage rack bag or fast charger – accessories that are shown in our product images and videos. These options are sold separately and can give your electric bike even more functionality and comfort. When you order via the website, you only buy the standard version with standard battery or dual battery and can choose between the colors blue and gray.

Shipping terms

Free shipping: Applies to orders over 699 SEK throughout Sweden.

Shipping cost: For orders under 699 SEK, a shipping fee of 69 SEK will be added.

Delivery times

All products: Delivery time is 5–10 working days.

Special orders: For special orders placed via email, such as spare parts, a delivery time of up to 20 working days applies.

Post office box or home delivery

• For larger products such as electric scooters and electric bicycles we offer always home delivery directly to your door, completely free of charge.
• When delivering e-scooters or e-bikes to your home, it is the customer's responsibility to be available at the specified address during the delivery time. The shipping company will contact you in advance to schedule a time.
• If you instead wish to collect your package via an agent, you will need to contact the relevant shipping company to make this change.
• For deliveries via Postnord, if the consignment note does not fit in the mailbox, it will be placed at your door or in a bag outside your mailbox.

Electric scooter
An electric scooter is considered a bicycle if it has a maximum speed of 20 km/h and a motor with a maximum of 250 W. However, it is important to note that the limit applies to the continuous (nominal) power – which means that the electric scooter may temporarily have a higher so-called peak power, for example up to 1000 W, as long as the nominal power does not exceed 250 W.

If the electric scooter exceeds 20 km/h in speed or has a motor with a nominal power of more than 250 W, other rules apply. The next classification is Moped class II and then Moped class IThere are technical requirements, such as braking systems, that must be met for an electric scooter to be classified as a moped.

Essentially, if it reaches up to 25 km/h it is considered Moped class II, while if the speed exceeds 40 km/h and the motor is stronger than 250 W, it is classified as Moped class I. For Moped class I, an AM driving license is required, the vehicle must be registered, and a helmet must be worn. Moped class II requires a driver's license and mandatory use of a helmet. If the electric scooter does not meet the requirements for a bicycle, Moped class I or II, it may not to be used on public roads.

Electric bike
For the requirements to apply to an electric bicycle, the motor must be limited to 250 W nominal (continuous) power and only assist pedaling up to 25 km/hThis means that the engine can temporarily deliver a higher so-called peak power, for example up to 1000 W, as long as the nominal power does not exceed 250 W. The electric bike must also be pedaled for the motor to work – it must not be able to drive on its own without the user's pedaling power.

Deviation from these requirements results in the vehicle being classified as moped, which entails other technical requirements, registration requirements, driving license and insurance.

We strongly recommend the use of a helmet, especially if the driver is under 15 years old, although it is not mandatory.
